BUSES. In Metro Manila, buses ply the major thoroughfares such as EDSA,which connect to metropolis from the north to south. Air conditioned buses are all over the city. Fares are at P6. Some charge a minimum fare per zone. Regular buses charge P2 for the first five kilometers and 50c for every kilometer thereafter.

TAXIS. Taxi queues are found outside hotels, airports, commercial centers and other busy areas. Flag-down rate is P20 pus P1 for every succeeding 200 meters. Taxicab passengers must insist that the meter be used; if the meter is out of order, agree on a price first before you set off.

CAR RENTAL. Car rental companies provide-first-rate rental services for either chauffeur-driven or self driven cars. There are a variety of vehicle and the terms and based on duration of the rental. A valid foreign or international driver's license is required for visitors who wish to drive.Most international car rental companies like Avis, Dollar, Budget, National, Hertz and Nissan are represented in most major cities.

JEEPNEYS.These colorful expressions of Filipino ingenuity and pop art are ubiquitous all around the nation. Minimum fare is P2.50.

SEA TRANSPORT. Ferry boats and shipping lines provide both first-class transport along the sea lanes that surround the many islands of the Philippines.

LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT. The Light Rail Transit is a fast, traffic-free way to travel around Metro Manila. At percent, the operational LRT speeds through 18 stations along major roads, from the north-end terminal in Kalookan City to Baclaran Terminal in the South. More LRT systems are planned to connect other parts of metropolis. A flat rate of P10 is charged at the token booths located at each LRT Station.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS. Local airlines connect the many provinces of the Philippines with Metro Manila. Daily flights to key cities and provincial towns are offered by Philipine Airlines, Grand Air and Cebu-pacific. Charter flights are readily available at very reasonable rates to more exotic locations.
