The Challenge
Today:
According to
Philippine Daily Inquirer published in
March 18, 1999,
5 million pre-schoolers
are suffering from lack of vitamin A which means 17 children can go blind each day.

To help these
children get the best possible start in life, we are promoting a
Vitamin Campaign
Program

that is easy
to accomplish.

About us
What we have is a story brought to life by love and molded by need...

We started our projects from our own resources and later gathered support from others who saw in us our commitment.

Today, as always, we work hand-in-hand with volunteers. With the efficiency of a successful program, we remain faithfully committed to our share in the society, the role we treasure in the lives of children in need.

Short History

It started from Benefit Fashion Shows in 1989 followed by series of small fashion shows and a couple of charity services in the community.

Our initial project was the model search on October 13, 1989 held at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California. It was a major project in respond to the needs of finding the missing children. We organized Look of the Year Project and benefited the Kevin Collins Foundation for the Missing Children. The project was very successful that we made a sequence of it. The Look of the Year 1991 on October 29, 1990 was conceived. The project was held at the Henry Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland.

In 1994, we took stronger initiative to further our charity missions. With leadership role in development and by creating effective transfer programs in developing nations. In this instance, we chose the Philippines.

Our mission since then is for neglected children with vitamin A dificiency. Vitamin A dificiency could lead to blindness, to save these their eyesight we created charity programs to secure the needed vitamins like asking big companies to donate vitamins.

Today, with the help of volunteers from all source and from the medical professionals and to members of the press, these compose our extensive assistance from different entities.

Recent Programs
Realizing the importance of providing vitamins for children, in early 1997, we instituted a media based vitamin-campaign to help the children. The program was initiated by volunteer doctors, headed by PI Courier News CEO, Dr. Magel G. Surdilla, one of the nation's most respected dentist and orthodontics; and, respected figures in the media industry headed by James Jimenez, then the president of KBP.

Today, we are demonstrating community involvement combined with additional citizen commitment here and abroad. The result is encouraged self-sufficiency that ensures lasting change in the lives of children and their families.

We believe in what we can do and what love can do for all of us. We hope to inspire others and through this process, perhaps along the way, those of you who have extended support may find your own lives changed as well.
